of the Royal Armouries III

Pris: 150 kr

This volume is the third and final part of Firearms of the Royal Armoury.

In this concluding volume Nils Drejholt describes the growth of the firearms collection from 1906, when the Royal Armoury was transferred to the newly opened Nordiska museet, the Nordic Museum in Stockholm, until its return to the Royal Palace, where today it is housed in facilities in the cellars.

Every Single Weapon has a story to tell, but the story of how and when weapons were added to the Royal Armoury collections also gives us valuable insights into the general history of the 20th Century and the professional development of museum sciences during that period.
