The Theatre King
Experience the splendour, power and theatre costumes in the era of Gustav III. For the first time, around fifty unique costumes are displayed together, thanks to a collaboration with the Royal Opera.
Below ground in the museum, in the old palace vaults, the royal carriages are lined up. Once upon a time they were used by kings and queens for various ceremonies such as weddings, coronations and funerals.
