Friends of the Royal Armoury
The friend association was founded in May 2001 with the purpose of supporting the the Royal Armoury's public activities. Today we have nearly 800 members.
Through our activities, we contribute to arousing interest and increasing knowledge about Swedish history. We also award an annual scholarship of 25,000 SEK for meritorious research work within the Royal Armoury's area of activity.

Lectures, guided tours and trips abroad
The friends association is happy to highlight the hidden and forgotten from historical archives, sources and collections, and we offer an opportunity to visit unique environments that the general public usually has difficulty accessing.
Our extensive program includes:
- Digital lectures by interesting speakers and historians (included in the membership fee).
- Lectures on site in the Royal Armoury. In connection with these, we usually arrange a mingle with light snacks.
- Guided walks in the urban environment and special tours of other museums and attractions.
- Excursions to interesting places around Sweden.
- International trips usually once a year, for example in previous years to the UK, Finland and Italy.
- Special events with coffee and lunch, such as on Gustav Adolf Day and the annual meeting.
All of this is possible thanks to the fantastic commitment of our members!

Become a Member and Pay Membership Fee
You become a member by paying the membership fee through the portal:
foreningshuset.se/livrustkammarens-vanner
Through the portal, you can choose your membership, fill in your details, pay directly via mobile payment system Swish, or choose to receive an invoice. Once you've paid the membership fee, we will send out membership cards by mail within a few weeks. The membership card will also be available digitally through your personal member page and can be downloaded directly to your mobile phone.
