
National Day Celebration

Celebrate National Day with us! On June 6, the Royal Armoury is offering a 2-for-1 deal – discover royal history for half the price! Visitors under 19 always enjoy free admission, and family-friendly guided tours are included.
Activities during the day:
- Try on armour and knight helmets in the exhibition The Battle for Europe. The activity is suitable for everyone, from 4 to 100!
- Test your history knowledge in a fun quiz and compete for an annual pass that gives you free admission to seven museums.
- In the Stone Hall, the Grillska Huset café will offer freshly baked strawberry pastries, cinnamon buns, “mumma” (a traditional Swedish drink), and sandwiches.
- Also in the Stone Hall: get creative at the craft table while enjoying your fika!
- Join a family tour at 12:00 and 13:00. The tours are in Swedish and are first come, first served. About the tour and tickets.
- Join a guided tour of the exhibition The Theatre King at 14:00. About the tour and tickets.
Admission and tickets
All activities are included in the admission ticket, including guided tours. Drop-in, no pre-booking (first come, first served)!
Adult admission: 180 SEK (2-for-1 offer on June 6!)
Children up to 19 years of age: Free admission
Visitor Information
- Strollers: Unfortunately, strollers are not allowed inside the museum exhibitions. A limited number of stroller spaces are available inside the museum entrance. For safety reasons, strollers may not be left outside the entrance. This applies to the entire Royal Palace.
- Cloakroom: A cloakroom is located next to the museum shop, with hangers, hat shelves, and a few lockers.
- Food: There is no designated area for packed meals. Due to the sensitive environment, eating or drinking is not allowed in the exhibitions, entrance area, or shop.
- Restrooms: Located down a half-flight of stairs near the royal carriages.
