Ordinary opening hours
Monday: closed
Tuesday - Sunday: 11 am - 5 pm
Thursday: 11 am - 8 pm
Admission charges
Free admission, fees may apply for special exhibitions.
Guided group tours
If you are part of large group that wants to visit the museum, you can book your own group tour with guide.
Tour charges for parties
- SEK 2500 during daytime
- SEK 3500 in the evenings or weekends (from 17.00)
- SEK 800 total price per class for primary and secondary school classes, high school and univerity, throughout the year.

The collection
The Royal Armoury is the oldest museum in Sweden. It was established by King Gustav II Adolph in 1628 after his decision to preserve the clothes he wore on his campaign in Poland.
