Opening hours
The Royal Armoury in Old Town Stockholm is open Tuesday to Sunday, and every day during the summer season. Here you can find the museum's opening hours.

- Tuesday–Wednesday: 11:00–17:00
- Thursday: 11:00–20:00
- Friday–Sunday: 11:00–17:00
Exceptions
- Day before Christmas Eve 24 December: Closed
- Christmas Eve 25 December: Closed
- Boxing day of Christmas 26 December: Closed
- New Years Eve 31 December: Closed
- New Year's Day 1 January: Closed
Good to know before your visit
- Prams/strollers: Unfortunately, strollers cannot be brought into the museum’s exhibitions. There are a few places to park strollers near the museum entrance, and it is also possible to lock them outdoors in a designated area outside the museum.
- Wardrobe: There is a cloakroom next to the museum’s shop. There are hangers for clothes as well as hat shelves. You will also find some lockable cabinets in the cloakroom.
- Packed meal: We do not have any room for eating packed meals. The sensitive environment means that it is not permitted to eat or drink in the museum’s exhibitions, entrance or shop.
- Lavatory: From 7 January 2026, the museum’s visitor restrooms will be renovated. Restrooms are available at Slottsboden. Unfortunately, an accessible toilet is not available during the renovation.
