New exhibition: In Royal Service – guards, maids of honour and lackeys

In the Royal Armoury’s new colourful exhibition, In Royal Service, you are given a glimpse into life at the royal court. Magnificent costumes, gleaming silver trumpets, and striking portraits introduce some of the men and women who served the monarchy during the 17th and 18th centuries, through the traces they left behind.

Hat Exhibition!

During the fall break, you can visit the exhibition Hat Couture, a colorful exhibition about the imaginative accessory, the hat. It features creative retro hats worn by royal ladies, as well as modern creations on exclusive loan from Swedish Princess Christina and Princess Sofia.

Where is the Castle Mouse hiding?

Did you know that the Castle Mouse has lived in the basement of the castle for hundreds of years? A secret treasure box helps you explore the Royal Armoury with your family. The Castle Mouse is a popular children’s trail you can ask for in the entrance desk.
