Travel Trade

The Royal Armoury is a perfect partner for those in the travel industry who want to offer unique and memorable experiences in Stockholm. The museum is located in the Old Town, in the historic vaults of The Royal Palace. Here you’ll find shining suits of armor, glittering costumes, and magnificent carriages on display.

Visit the Royal Armoury, one of Sweden’s oldest museums and learn more about the country’s royal history from the 16th century to the present day. Discover weapons, armor, and garments that tell the stories of events and people from 500 years of Swedish and international history. Some objects have been preserved because they were present at particularly significant historical moments. Gustavus Adolphus’s stuffed horse Streiff from the Battle of Lützen in 1632 and King Gustav III’s masquerade costume from the assassination at the opera in 1792 are such examples.
