Half-term Holiday at The Royal Armoury

Welcome to the opening weekend on 29-30 October at the Royal Armoury Collections! We begin a crammed half-term week with the première opening of the family exhibition Unicorns – If you believe in me, I’ll believe in you.

Unicorn Grand Prix

Unicorn Grand Prix. Unicorn racing in the Royal Armoury Collections. Can you tame your unicorn and beat the course record? Bring along your own hobby horse or borrow one here.

Date and price: 29 October- 5 November 11.00-16.00 in the auditorium. (Note: not Sunday 6 November.) Free of charge to participate.

Royal fun in the Children’s Armoury

Beside the unicorn exhibition is the popular Children’s Armoury. Magical things happen under the glittering starry sky. Here you can hold and feel, smell and listen to history and have royal fun together. Free of charge.

Special viewing of Manga Royals

In the Manga Royals exhibition, kings and queens have inspired cartoonists from the Swedish manga collective Nosebleed to produce adventurous and imaginative pictures in the manga style. With the focus on costume fashion of the highest class, we discover our kings, queens and princesses as they have never been seen before. The costumes are not normally on display in the museum, so make sure to see them!

Date and price: November 1 and November 3 at 15.00. Free of charge.

Family guided tour of the museum

Join a guided tour in the magical vaults of the royal palace. See the exhibits and hear about Sweden’s royal history. 13.00 every day. General viewing at 14.00.
