Good to know before you visit
- Strollers/prams: Unfortunately, it is not possible to bring prams into the museum's exhibitions. In the museum entrance, there is a limited number of spots for prams. For safety reasons, you may not park strollers outside the entrance. This applies to the entire Royal Palace.
- Wardrobe: The museum provides a wardrobe with hangers, hat shelves, and lockable cabinets. Small bags are allowed, but we cannot store suitcases. Nearest storage is available at Stockholm Central Station.
- Food and drink: Unfortunately, we don't have a designated space to eat packed meals. Due to the sensitive environment, eating and drinking are not allowed in the museum's exhibitions, entrance, or shop. The Royal Armoury does not have a cafe or restaurant but we are happy to recommend nearby restaurants and cafés.
- Restrooms and changing rooms: The toilets are located one staircase down towards the royal carriages. There is also a changing room there.
Accessibility
The Royal Armoury aims to be a museum for everyone. We continuously work on improving our facilities to make visiting us easy. All public areas are wheelchair accessible, and you can also borrow a wheelchair on-site at the museum.
