Plan your visit

Here you can find practical information that may be helpful when you plan your visit.

The museum provides a wardrobe with hangers, hat shelves, and lockable cabinets. Small bags are allowed, but we cannot store suitcases. Nearest storage is available at Stockholm Central Station.

The lockers are 48x24 centimeters.

Food and beverages

Unfortunately, we don't have a designated space to eat packed meals. Due to the sensitive environment, eating and drinking are not allowed in the museum's exhibitions, entrance, or shop. The Royal Armoury does not have a cafe or restaurant.

For safety reasons, strollers are not allowed inside the museum. You can lock your stroller outside the museum.

The toilets are located one staircase down towards the royal carriages.

Changing room

The changing room is located one staircase down, near the other restrooms.

The Royal Armoury aims to be a museum for everyone. We continuously work on improving our facilities to make visiting us easy. All public areas are wheelchair accessible, and you can also borrow a wheelchair on-site at the museum.
